Electrician

Position Overview:A leading provider of physical security solutions is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team as an Electrical Security Technician. This role combines electrical expertise with hands-on work in the installation and maintenance of physical security systems for government and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities :
•
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical security systems, including access control, video, and intrusion detection devices

Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical tasks such as power sources, wiring, and conduit installation

•
Support the development and improvement of work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures

•
Perform visual and operational inspections, interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job standards

•
Analyze and help resolve work problems to achieve team goals

•
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

•
Lift and move materials ranging from 10 to 50 pounds as required

•
Use basic electrical and hand tools safely and effectively

Qualifications :
• Journeyman Electrician license for applicable state is required

•
Experience in electrical trades and familiarity with trade-specific tools (ladders, lifts, voltmeters, conduit benders, power tools)

•
Knowledge of access control, video, and intrusion detection systems is a plus

•
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and job specifications

•
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

•
Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

•
Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible environment and collaborate effectively with a team
