REPORTS TO: Fabrication Division Manager
STATUS: Full time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Beaumont, TX or Ludington, MI with up to 75% travel nationwide
SALARY RANGE: $25-35/hour depending on experience and interview outcome

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Execution team in Texas or Michigan. In this role, you will assist with the construction, wiring, plumbing, and installation of control panels and treatment systems for water treatment and fertilizer treatment projects. This involves hands-on work in both shop and field environments, and requires travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with electrical panels and piping systems, and enjoys working on diverse projects in different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Must operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles and encourage others to do the same.
Read and understand a P&ID; able to take this information and convert it into a 2/D electrical schematic.
Ability to interpret other systems electrical schematics and build as needed for clients.
Set up electrical schematics for PLC tech to program, work with PLC tech to de-bug system during initial start-up of system.
Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels.
Perform electrical wiring (low-voltage and standard industrial wiring as required).
Order all parts needed for building and build systems, or direct others to build systems.
Assist sales on bidding future jobs.
Escalates issues as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with safe use and operation of a variety of hand and powered tools and equipment.
Familiarity with control panels, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and sensors.
Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
Must be a team player and help where needed, yet motivated to work independently.
Comfortable with up to 75% travel to job sites as needed.
Some weekends and nights will be required in certain business case scenarios; this may include holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical components.
Experience working on pumps.
Experience in the operations, maintenance, and repairs of single-phase and three-phase motors.
Knowledge of both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
Ability to read, understand, and work from basic CAD drawings including construction documents, wiring diagrams, and plumbing schematics.
Journeyman or equivalent trade experience.
Mechanical and plumbing knowledge is a plus.
Licensing & Special Requirements:
Subject to a criminal background check and drug screening.
Must be willing to travel 50% - 75% and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working Conditions:
Most of the work is performed on various construction sites, but will require occasional time working in a warehouse setting or at a desk. Physical requirements of the position include: walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods; lifting heavy objects (50 lbs or more); climbing; crouching; operating tools; and always wearing appropriate PPE.
