We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Validation Intern to join our Client IO team. In this role, you will learn and work closely with experienced engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, helping validate different high-speed and low-speed silicon interfaces at various stages and on different dies. You will be contributing to the validation of cutting-edge products that will be released to market in the coming years. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world electrical validation challenges in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment, with extensive laboratory interaction using professional-grade test equipment to perform precise electrical measurements. You will have significant hands-on hardware interaction and automation. This is an on-site position that provides direct access to our state-of-the-art validation laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.
• Help execute lab testing, measurements, and data analysis using standard test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
• Follow established engineering processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Support platform enablement and thermal configuration setup.
• Manage silicon inventory and lifecycle tracking systems.
• Perform firmware updates and maintain equipment calibration records.
• Provide technical support through laboratory ticketing systems.
• Maintain laboratory infrastructure and organized workstations.
• Execute electrical validation test plans for silicon verification.
• Assist in hardware and system troubleshooting activities.
• Evaluate electronic components and analyze experimental test results.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Pursuing senior-level coursework in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ months of experience in Electrical Engineering (both Digital and Analog Electronics)
• Advanced English level.
• Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Computer Architecture.
• Experience with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal analyzers, test probes, multimeters, and other standard instrumentation.
• Intermediate programming skills in Python or C++
• Read and interpret electronic component datasheets.
• Must be available for daily on-site work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Intel Guadalajara.
