My client, a leading global food manufacturer, is looking to hire a number of maintenance engineers for their fantastic facility in London.

Description

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out basic fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on the production line equipment and rectifying any minor faults.

You will adhere to maintenance machinery schedule to ensure all issues and resolutions are fully documented at all times. You will be responsible for completing the Engineering logbook at the end of each shift and recording any stock removed from the Engineering stores to ensure stock control is accurate and ready for auditing.

Communication is key to ensure you consult with the operations team and confirm they are fully aware of all engineering schedules and activities at all times.

Profile

In your role as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have had previous knowledge of working within a high volume, high care, manufacturing environment as well as having an excellent understanding of maintaining Engineering Systems. You will also have time served accredited apprentice or have equivalent knowledge with relevant certification.

You will have a proven track record of delivering engineering improvements as well as best in class standards. You will be a key member of the team and happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
