Electrical Maintenance Engineer

This is an opportunity to make real improvements in maintenance as well as being involved in an extensive CAPEX programme to improve the facility. 

Working as part of the established maintenance team your main duties will be to maintain and repair gear motors, HV equipment, conveyor systems, overhead cranes and furnaces. The successful candidate must have a 17th Edition qualification and will ideally have passed an Engineering apprenticeship and have previous experience of working in a heavy engineering environment. Applicants with a City & Guilds (to Level 3 standard) and or ONC/HNC will also be considered. The shift pattern for this role is based on a 6-2, 2-10. An excellent remuneration package is offered to include a starting salary of circa £40k (£35k + shift premium) + overtime.
