Position Overview:
The Electrical Laborer supports electrical crews on commercial and heavy civil projects by assisting in installation, maintenance, and cleanup activities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the electrical trade while working in a fast-paced construction environment. The Electrical Laborer will work under the direction of Electricians and Superintendents to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components.
Perform material handling, staging, and jobsite set up for electrical work.
Pull wire, install conduit and assist with basic electrical tasks as directed.
Operate hand tools and power tools, and heavy equipment safely and properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsites at all times.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and jobsite rules.
Assist with trenching, backfilling, hand digging, and concrete work related to electrical installations.
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
Support daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
Ability to communicate and work well with coworkers and customers.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Dedicated and hardworking; strong work ethic.

Teamwork Oriented
Adaptable to different personalities and management styles.
Other duties as instructed
Physical Requirements
Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
Perform physical tasks: bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and standing.
Comfortable with heights, tight spaces, near heavy equipment, live electrical systems and active construction zones.
Must adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE usage.
Qualifications/Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Valid driver’s license preferred.
