Location: Bay Minette
Responsible for leading electrical field operations on a heavy industrial construction site. This role oversees multiple crews and foremen and may serve as the senior on-site electrical leader when no Electrical Superintendent is assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and direct daily electrical construction activities across multiple crews
Lead electrical foremen and crews; manage manpower, work sequencing, and productivity
Coordinate electrical work with mechanical and other trades to support the overall project schedule
Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, NEC, OSHA, and company standards
Enforce site safety requirements, including JHAs, toolbox talks, and field safety audits
Develop short-interval work plans and drive schedule commitments
Identify and resolve constructability issues and trade interface conflicts
Track progress and provide daily manpower and production reporting
Support inspections, testing, punch list completion, and system turnover
Communicate field status, constraints, and coordination issues with site leadership
Required Qualifications
6+ years of heavy industrial electrical construction experience
Prior experience as an Electrical General Foreman or Senior Electrical Foreman
Strong leadership and multi-crew coordination skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations
Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties. English proficiency is required due to operational and safety communication needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license
OSHA 30 certification
Experience acting as senior electrical field lead on industrial projects
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and shifts as required
Ability to work in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoor conditions)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE
