Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman with 7+ years of experience in multifamily (apartment) construction. The Electrical Foreman will oversee daily field operations, supervise electrical crews, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and codes.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise, coordinate, and manage electrical crews on apartment construction projects
· Plan and assign daily work tasks to ensure project timelines and productivity goals are met
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings accurately
· Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes
· Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on-site
· Monitor material usage and assist with ordering and inventory control
· Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
· Enforce safety policies and procedures; lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment
· Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members
· Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in the field
· Maintain daily reports on progress, manpower, and any jobsite issues
Qualifications
· Minimum 7+ years of electrical experience, with foreman or supervisory experience preferred
· Proven experience in multifamily/apartment construction projects
· Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
· Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation practices
· Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Environment
· Primarily on active construction sites with exposure to outdoor conditions
· Requires physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and climbing ladders
