We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential construction projects. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex designs, and is confident serving as the engineer of record. You’ll play a key role in delivering code-compliant, high-performing designs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead end-to-end electrical design for commercial and residential projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Review, stamp, and seal engineering documents, ensuring full accountability for accuracy, quality, and code compliance
Produce and oversee high-quality electrical plans, schematics, specifications, and construction documents
Perform and validate complex design calculations (load, voltage drop, short circuit, etc.) to ensure system performance and reliability
Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and contractors to resolve design challenges and drive successful project execution
Mentor other engineers and EITs while contributing to project management activities (budgets, schedules, deliverables) and continuous improvement efforts
WHAT YOU BRING:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and active PE license (or ability to obtain in Montana)
6+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial and/or residential construction projects
Strong expertise in power distribution, lighting design, and low-voltage systems
Deep working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
Proven ability to lead complex designs, perform advanced calculations, and deliver high-quality construction documents
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
