Electrical Design Engineer

For our office in Madrid, we are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer.

Main tasks:

• Active participation in technical discussions on projects.
• Study of client specifications and preparation of technical solutions for functional and detailed diagrams.
• Preparation of functional logic diagrams.
• Design and drawing of wiring diagrams for electrical cabinets.
• Technical support for the project manager.
• Design and drawing of wiring diagrams for DC traction substations.

Requirements:
• Technical degree in electrical and automation industrial field or equivalent.
• CAD design (Schemelect, Eplan, SEE Electrical Expert, AutoCAD Electrical…)
• Knowledge of automation and functional logic.
• Successful experience as similar position (in the railway is a plus).
• Knowledge and proficiency of principles of Electrical distribution and their associated protection systems.
• Production of electrical diagrams of systems.
• English B2 or higher.
• Occasional travelling requested (a few days once every 2 months in average).
• Team player, autonomous, solutions oriented, problem solver, able to take technical responsibilities.
• Able to take technical responsibilities.
