Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop the next generation of cost-effective AC/DC switching power supplies. This role will be responsible for end-to-end power supply design, from concept and schematic development through validation and production release, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
Design and develop AC/DC switching power supplies from concept to production, including schematic design, component selection, and circuit optimization
Apply strong theoretical knowledge of power electronics and electrical engineering principles to achieve high efficiency, reliability, and cost targets
Perform design analysis, simulation, and verification to validate electrical performance
Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) to ensure smooth transition to mass production
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, validation, and production stages
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure overall product success
Prepare and maintain design documentation, test reports, and technical specifications
Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and continuous product improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in power supplies
Proven experience designing AC/DC switching power supplies
Strong theoretical foundation in power electronics and electrical concepts
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve complex electrical issues
