Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Electrical Department using Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint to communicate with internal and external customers. The Administrative Assistant will also support office staff in keeping the business operations and activities on track.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend meetings to collect meeting minutes,
Ability to handle multitasks,
Compiling documentation,
Maintenance of files,
Answering phones and processing messages,
Organization of office space,
Provides assistance and support to visitors,
Maintain and track information using Word and Excel,
Schedule appointments,
Planning meetings,
Providing support to the assigned manager and his/her designees,
Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures,
Interface with FMCC leaders as well as internal & external customers as needed, and
Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older,
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
No less than 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant, or in a secretarial position,
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team,
High school diploma or equivalency is desired,
Possess a positive attitude and work ethic,
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Excellent writing skills,
Pass background and drug & alcohol screening.
Working conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer,
Finger dexterity for extensive amounts of typing
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time,
This job requires the ability to see, whether naturally or with vision correction tools (glasses, contacts),
Climbing stairs daily to get to workstation.
Note: This is an on-site position and requires the ability to work in the office during standard business hours. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
