Elder Law and Estate Planning Paralegal / Legal Assistant

We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm looking to increase its talented ranks of Attorneys by adding a Legal Assistance with 4-7 years of experience to join our growing Elder Law and Estate Planning Department. This Department manages all aspects of asset protection, estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. We are seeking a Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to the attorneys' business needs.

Responsibilities
Review and summarize estate planning documents
Maintain and organize client files and records
Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection
Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents
Prepare and manage spreadsheets and supporting materials
Provide general support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications
4–7 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in estate planning or elder law
Experience with NYSCEF e-filing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working directly with clients and attorneys
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Compensation
Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000
commensurate with experience.
This is an in-person position based in Lake Success, NY.
