Essential Job Functions: • Inform and educate patients on EKG, Treadmill and other nuclear procedures; prepare patients for procedures and supervise nuclear stress procedures. • Attach electrodes to patients, connect electrodes to leads from EKG machine, and operate EKG machine to obtain reading. • Observe, monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health status. • Obtain Prior Authorization from health insurance company prior to procedure being performed. • Coordinates, schedules, and confirms patient exams and procedures within the department for referring physicians. • Performs other related duties incidental to the work therein.

Qualifications:  • Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to be on feet for significant portions of the day helping assisting patients. • ACLS certification required within one year of hire. • IV experience preferred. • Must be EKG certified.

Hours: 7am-5pm 4 days a week, or 8am-4pm 5 days a week. No holidays, weekends or evenings.
