EHS Site Group Lead (Process Safety)

🚀 We’re seeking a seasoned EHS Site Group Leader with proven expertise in conducting Process Hazard Analyses (HAZOP), interpreting complex process and powder safety data, and driving implementation of recommendations across facilities. Your responsibilities will include implementing process safety management systems, reviewing Management of Change and batch records, enforcing guidelines for highly toxic and hazardous materials, and conducting GEMBA walks and Ready‑to‑Operate assessments for new or modified facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Hazard Analysis (e.g. HAZOP) for all processes, facility & share the outcome with management for implementation.
• Interpretation of process safety data and powder safety data and share the recommendations.
• Knowledge on RC1, DSC, TSU, MIE, MIT, LIT, Powder bulk resistivity studies.
• Strong knowledge on Inertization and blanketing techniques.
• Process safety calculations i.e. utility adequacy, vent sizing, orifice calculation etc.
• Participation in technical discussion, technical reviews, preliminary assessment, EHS By Design & new Product and Process evaluations.
• Coordinating with R&D for preparation and review of new product introduction.
• Process safety management implementation at site through technical support & periodic audits.
• Review of Management of Change, batch manufacturing record w.r.t safety requirement. 
• Implementation of Highly Toxic & Hazardous Material guidelines at site & preparation new chemicals.
• Conduct GEMBA and share outcome with respective division head for compliance.
• Conduct Ready To Operate for all new facilities & modified facilities.
• Process safety training for employee to enhance process safety capability.
• Prepare, update and document the standard operating procedure (SOP) related to safety department.
• Investigate the incident, prepare the incident investigation report and follow up for corrective action to avoid the recurrence.
• Follow up with the engineering, project, production and laboratory regarding implementation internal, external safety audit recommendations.
• Conduct Hazardous Area Classification drive and implement the recommendations.
• Assess the gaps at site w.r.t to Global engineering and Global EHS guidelines.

The ideal candidate must have:

• B.Tech. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• 8 -12 Years relevant experience.
• Good understanding of Process Safety Management Elements.
