$60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications*

JOB OVERVIEW
The Education Programs Coordinator drives the operational excellence of our education partnerships and internal systems. This role blends program operations, contract and vendor management, and lightweight product management to ensure seamless execution across teacher development, school partnerships, technology prototyping, and pilot initiatives. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented systems thinker who can translate big-picture goals into repeatable, well-documented workflows and tools.
The Education Programs Coordinator will report to the Director of Education as a part of the Education department, which is responsible for leading content development and driving implementation and scale of Decision Education in schools.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
This full-time role requires an 8-hour day and a 40-hour work week. It is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning it is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is open to local candidates. Local team members are expected to follow a hybrid schedule, working on-site at our headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, PA, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote work permitted on other business days.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Program & Operational Management
Design, document, and operationalize key program workflows—including teacher stipends, pilot support processes, and school recruitment cycles.
Coordinate across internal teams to ensure program milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
Support the relationship management of school and district partners, coordinating agreements, data privacy requirements, and other operational issues.
Contract & Vendor Management
Develop, route, and track all partner contracts, MOUs, and statements of work (SOWs).
Manage vendor RFPs, onboarding, compliance, and renewals, ensuring deliverables align with project scopes.
Collaborate with the finance team to confirm stipends and vendor invoices are accurate and paid promptly.
Data, Systems, & Tools
In partnership with our Project Management & Operations team, maintain key internal systems (e.g., Salesforce, Wrike) to support team operations, workflow automation, and reporting.
Collaborate with our Research & Development teams to monitor and improve data and information sharing across systems, including dashboards for school, teacher, and student reach.
Lead the creation and management of custom AI tools and GPTs to streamline workflows and knowledge sharing.
Product & Pilot Support
Serve as an operational bridge between partner schools and the internal product/development team, capturing feature requests and feedback from pilots.
Support testing, documentation, and rollout processes for new tools or features.
These responsibilities may change or expand over time, consistent with the organization’s needs and initiatives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or related roles (education, edtech, or nonprofit preferred)
Proven ability to implement and improve systems and workflows across cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of contract management processes and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with data dashboards, CRM systems (Salesforce), and project management tools (Wrike, Asana, or similar)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in K-12 education
Experience managing or supporting program pilots, product launches, or custom technology tools
