Editorial Assistant
SeeCubic is a pioneer in immersive display technology, offering a state-of-the-art 3D viewing experience without the need for 3D glasses or other wearables. The Company has made significant strides in commercializing its groundbreaking technology across various industries, including automotive, consumer electronics, digital signage, and content creation.
The Role
Working directly with the Head of Editorial in the London office and the Head of Production in the Pune office, we are currently looking for an Editorial Assistant to assist with the day-to-day editorial tasks of the 3D content creation, business development and marketing teams.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Build and manage Stereo 3D timelines for internal review.
Work with client and editorial teams to maintain up-to-date conform timelines across production cut revisions.
Liaise with internal production teams to schedule and action day-to-day production tasks.
Coordinate and gather feedback for internal Stereo 3D review sessions.
Assemble review notes for communication back to relevant production teams.
Data wrangling of production materials between Client and SeeCubic production sites.
Assist with the design and creation of client test content, marketing material and demo reels / show reels.
You
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a post production / VFX environment, with a good understanding of feature film post production and VFX workflows and terminology.
Familiarity with online editing / colour–grading platforms, Avid or Premier-Pro and After Effects, Nuke and other motion graphics compositing tools is advantageous.
Action Oriented: Proactive, resourceful, and solutions based approach.
Autonomous: Ability to structure, manage and deliver daily/weekly outputs in a fluid environment meeting key milestones without close guidance.
Relevant experience: Post Production / VFX experience is essential.
Business Applications: Word and Excel skills, an understanding of common file formats, along with their various uses and applications is required. Scripting / workflow automation experience (such as Python) is desirable.
Cultural Agility: Ability to work effectively across various geographies and cultures, communicating effectively and gaining credibility and trust of key stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is a prerequisite and critical to success.
