About the Role

At Moonpig, we’re here to help people celebrate life’s moments. As our Ecommerce Trading Assistant, you’ll play a key part in bringing that mission to life across our website — making sure the right products, promotions and content show up at the right time.

Working within our UK Commercial Trading & eCommerce team, you’ll help deliver trading plans onsite, support campaign execution, and ensure customers enjoy a smooth journey from landing page to checkout. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for ecommerce, retail or digital marketing who loves detail, data and working cross-functionally to drive performance.


Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the trading calendar, ensuring activity is clearly planned and communicated across teams
• Support end-to-end setup of promotions, including briefing, site builds, QA checks and go-live execution
• Work closely with Buying teams to coordinate and launch new products in line with trading priorities
• Manage onsite content linked to promotional T&Cs, Experiences and Plus landing pages, keeping all information accurate and up to date
• Own the content strategy for Experiences and Plus landing pages, optimising for engagement and performance
• Produce weekly content performance reports and support insight generation on promotional results
• Partner with Marketing to ensure email campaigns are accurate, links work correctly, and the journey from email to site is seamless
• Collaborate with Buying, Marketing and Content teams to ensure campaigns are executed onsite in a timely and accurate way
• Monitor competitor activity and highlight opportunities to enhance the onsite customer experience
• Support the Ecommerce Trading Manager in tracking sales performance and key business KPIs


About You:
• Experience or strong interest in ecommerce, retail or digital marketing
• Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with numbers and data
• Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
• Solid IT capability, including Excel; familiarity with Google Analytics is a bonus
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams

Stage 2: Hiring Manager Interview (30–45 minutes)
A deeper discussion around your skills, trading knowledge and how you approach cross-functional collaboration.

Stage 3: Trading Director Conversation (30 minutes)
A more informal chat to get to know each other and explore team fit.
