The Role
We’re looking for a results-driven, strategic Ecommerce Manager to own and elevate the digital shopping experience. This role is pivotal to the success of our DTC business, responsible for driving growth through digital merchandising, website optimization, performance analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll lead the ecommerce roadmap end-to-end, partnering cross-functionally to deliver a best-in-class experience that is conversion-focused, data-driven and aligned with our brand vision.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Performance and Revenue Growth
Own and execute the ecommerce strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets, while monitoring and optimizing key metrics (AOV, CVR, bounce rate, return rate, and discount rate).
Responsible for tracking ecommerce performance metrics and sharing actionable insights with the DTC team.
Optimize Website Performance
Use data to analyze the customer journey and site behaviour.
Identify pain points and own site optimization strategies, including A/B testing, product merchandising, landing page optimization, and UX improvements.
Manage the Ecommerce Development Roadmap
Work cross-functionally with customer experience, marketing and external development agency partners to deliver site enhancements and new features.
Own the budgeting for these digital development projects, ensuring smart investment decisions that maximize return and support the overall Ecommerce strategy.
Promotional Planning and Execution
Support the promotional strategy from planning and execution to post-campaign analysis.
Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and other key initiatives that drive sales and engagement.
Work cross-functionally with marketing teams to brief in website content.
Inventory Buying and Forecasting
Support inventory buying forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels and alignment with sales demand.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and seamless fulfillment.
Own SEO Strategy and Execution
Lead SEO initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies to boost organic traffic and improve search visibility.
Monitor performance and ensure continuous optimization.
Requirements
4 - 6+ years of ecommerce experience in a DTC or consumer brand environment
Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred) supporting tools for performance analytics, attribution, AI merchandising, and A/B testing (e.g., Triple Whale, Google Analytics).
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making
Experience owning ecommerce merchandising, A/B testing, site enhancements and promotional calendars
Proven track record in improving conversion rates, user experience, and organic traffic
Experience in supporting ecommerce product management and planning, including assortment strategy, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization
Comfort working cross-functionally and managing external partners/agencies
Experience managing budgets and working within development or growth roadmaps
