Ecommerce Manager

Our eCommerce trading team drives online growth across The Beauty Tech Group. Embedded within our Digital function, the team blends commercial insight and creativity to deliver a seamless, high-performing online shopping experience.

Working closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Finance, and Operations, they turn data and customer insight into trading decisions that drive revenue and delight our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

E-commerce Trading & Performance

● Own and manage the day-to-day performance of the English-speaking e-commerce site(s).

● Lead the rollout of trading activities in collaboration with international teams.

● Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators.

● Track and analyse competitor activity across English-speaking markets.

Development & Project Coordination

● Coordinate e-commerce development projects from initial concept through to successful rollout.

● Define project requirements, priorities, and timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within agreed scope.

● Create, manage, and oversee UAT processes to ensure smooth, high-quality, and low-risk releases.

Stakeholder Management

● Provide senior stakeholders with insights and recommendations related to platform performance and development priorities.

● Communicate development progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and proactively to key stakeholders.

● Line manage and develop the e-commerce team, setting clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.

Operational Excellence

● Ensure all sites content, pricing, promotions, and product data are accurate, timely, and aligned with trading plans.

● Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact trading performance or customer experience.

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

● Proven experience managing online trading performance.

● Strong commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of revenue drivers, customer behaviour, and category management

● Strong ability to analyse complex data sets, generate actionable insights, and develop standardised reporting.

● Experience designing, implementing, and embedding standardised workflows across teams, ensuring clear governance, consistency, and adoption.

● Advanced proficiency in Excel, Shopify, GA4, and PIM systems.

● Practical understanding of technical development work for Shopify websites, including features, integrations, troubleshooting, and platform capabilities.

●. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work closely with stakeholders.

● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting clear deadlines and delivering trading plans, workflows, and reporting outputs on time.

● Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
