Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent day school that is a caring and thriving community. Our Junior School has recently undergone an incredible transformation. Our beautiful new facilities and oceanfront backdrop is only a small measure of what makes us special. This picturesque location is enhanced by the quality of our curricula, the passion of our teachers and the energy and involvement of our students.

We are seeking qualified Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Educator Assistants interested in on-call opportunities in our Junior Kindergarten Program.  We offer a nurturing environment where children, with teachers as their guides, explore the world around them, share experiences, and learn and play together. This unique environment embraces a Montessori methodology, within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme.

Candidates must possess a valid BC ECE/ECEA certification and have a good working knowledge of current educational trends in a Junior Kindergarten setting. Montessori training and experience and/or interest in weekly Nature School would be an asset. Candidates must be highly collegial and collaborative team players with exceptional interpersonal skills to establish strong connections with students and  colleagues.
