Early Talent Program Manager and Onboarding Ambassador
Responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving programs that attract, develop, and retain early‑career talent while ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. Identifies business needs and delivers effective learning and performance-focused programs for the assigned portfolio to support the business/group strategy. Develops, promotes, maintains, and actively manages designated learning program(s), performing periodic reviews, analyzing program outcomes, providing insights, and making recommendations for enhancements / changes. Ensures the effective and efficient execution of all program components, including ensuring change management and communications are in place.
Responsibilities:
Learning & Development
• Develop, manage, facilitate, co-ordinate, and evolve key learning programs
• Supports the design, development, and management of effective learning and performance-focused solutions (e.g. assesses client needs, develops the learning strategy, designs program, and identifies delivery methods and methodology)
• Attracts, retains, and enables the career development of top talent
• Designs measurable sustainment strategies including assessing and recommending mitigations for industry/segment-specific risks and prioritizing opportunities presented by internal and external stakeholders
• Supports the development of the learning program strategy ensuring that key goals are delivered and are aligned to overall BMO goals
• Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviours in all that they do
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Develop strong relationships and work in close collaboration with key business stakeholders, HR partners and learning forums to develop a deep understanding of the business, and their needs and priorities.
• Socialize programs and gather input from key stakeholders to ensure programs address the needs of the business and align key messaging.
• Leverage relationships to drive engagement, increase attendance, and reinforce the value of learning programs through targeted communication and advocacy.
• Build relationships with other learning teams across the enterprise to share best practices and identify opportunities for collaboration in support of enterprise needs and priorities.
Program Management & Delivery
• Develop and manage detailed projects, change management and communications plans, to ensure timely and efficient execution of all program components.
• Host learning programs delivered by external vendors or business partners, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
• Monitor and report on learning metrics and program effectiveness, using data to refine programs to maximize engagement and impact
• Manage program correspondence, including responding to participant inquiries and questions, and leverage this feedback to strengthen the overall program experience.
• Measure program success, retention, satisfaction and actively looks to improve
• Reviews the program for effectiveness, considers industry trends and recommends enhancements; makes changes as required
• Practices effective risk management and mitigation
• Develops viable tactical strategies and participates in the development of the recommendations for short and longer term plans including preparing business cases and monitoring of business objectives
Qualifications:
• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• New Employee Onboarding/Orientation - In-depth
• Experience in learning design and facilitation - In-depth
• Content creation experience in MS PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline/Rise, etc. - In-depth
• Project/program management skills – In-depth
• Attention to detail with a focus on execution – In-depth
• Influence and relationship building skills - In-depth
• Verbal & written communication in French and in English skills - preferrable
• Collaboration & team skills - In-depth
• Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth
• Data driven decision making - In-depth
Salary:
$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
