Early Childhood Teacher

We're hiring an Early Childhood Teacher to work with Preschool and Before & After School students! Help create hands-on, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young children. Collaborate with our supportive team and guide young children every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum

Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children ages 3 - 4 years in part time PreK, and 5-9 years old in School Age before & after care.

Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children

Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones

Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health/safety standards.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a licensed child care center is required.

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Candidates with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential may also be considered.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and sitting on the floor.

Must possess the agility to move promptly from a seated to a standing position to respond to emergencies.

Capable of participating in activities such as dancing, walking, diapering, and cleaning, both indoors and outdoors, in all four seasons.

Must have acceptable hearing and visual capabilities to adequately supervise children by sight and sound.
