Position Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, physical production environment and are team-oriented. Our Warehouse Associates are hard-working individuals and a vital contributor to AJC Logistics' success in meeting operating standards and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for shipping and receiving ocean freight containers and trailers at our Jacksonville, Florida facility on the Northside. The ideal candidate is responsible, and committed to quality service, and can operate a stand-up forklift experience. You will be on your feet all day standing or walking on the concrete floor in our 55,000 square foot warehouse. You must be okay working in multiple temperatures.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload ocean containers.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any inventory or product discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment-
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements:
High School, GED, or equivalent experience
Stand-up forklift experience required (Crown or Raymond)
Six (6) months of container warehouse experience
Receiving by case count is preferred
Ability to understand RF devices to scan a variety of products.
Previous experience loading ocean containers for destination to Puerto Rico preferred
Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
Ability to lift heavy objects
Shift Time
Day Shift Monday-Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm plus OT as needed.
