Title: Release Analyst

Location: Mclean VA

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities Include:
. Assess production readiness and control compliance of releases and changes by reviewing and enforcing service management operational requirements. The individual will review requirements and design solutions to ensure that changes meet operational requirements.

. Manage transition of small to large projects including coordinating transition activities and communicating effectively to a diverse group of stakeholders, involving technical developers, architects and project managers within multiple IT groups, business area groups and external vendors.

. Enforce adherence to the corporate standards as well as service management operational requirements in regards to the application development lifecycle by identifying risks and escalating as needed.

. Focus on customer satisfaction and reduce operation support cost by reviewing, analyzing, detecting and escalating risks and issues associated with all changes.

. Provide clear performance metrics to management regarding the Service Transition activities and deployment of projects and changes.

. Support effective integration between the Project Capabilities Office (PCO), the EPMO, Delivery Services, Architecture Services, Technology Services and Service Management, especially the hand-offs between Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release Management and CSI processes.

. Assist in creating Release processes and procedures and act as subject matter expert in Service Transition domain.

Basic Requirements

. 5-8 years of related professional work experience
. ITIL background and/or certifications

. Strong technology background with an understanding of implementing technical solutions and architectures.

. Must possess strong knowledge of application and infrastructure architectures in wide variety of fields such as information security, disaster recovery, change and release management

. Candidate must have experience in understanding and working within a complex infrastructure and working with a diverse group of stakeholders including business operations and IT.
. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
. Knowledge of the change management process, understanding of IT general controls, understanding of incident and problem resolution processes.
