Draslovka is hiring an experienced E&I Mechanic for the Memphis site.  The Memphis Plant E&I Mechanic accomplishes with a minimum of supervision, a wide variety of maintenance assignments. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the site’s instrumentation and electrical needs including the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the plant equipment in a safe, timely, and craftsman-like manner. The employee must be able to work overtime, ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs, wear industrial safety equipment; hard hat, gloves, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, goggles, lift 50 lbs., stand on his/her feet for extended periods of time, and be physically flexible including bending, rotating, kneeling.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Using Lock, Tag, and Try procedure and other safe work procedures before beginning work on equipment and systems.

Maintaining (e.g., Preventative Maintenance), testing, installing, repairing and troubleshooting process instrumentation equipment such as: temperature, pressure, flow, level and pH transmitters, control valves, etc.

Installs New installations including Equipment, Devices, Conduit, Wiring, Supports & etc.

With appropriate qualifications, certification, experience, and/or training, performs other advanced mechanic tasks such as, interlock testing, calibrations, etc.

Checking, performing preventative maintenance on, and repairing electrical equipment such as motors, AC and DC drives, motor control centers, power distribution panels

Ability to trouble shoot Pneumatic control valves

Safely perform work outdoors during all types of weather conditions

Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, and weekends as needed

Must have demonstrated human relations ability to show teamwork and resolving problems together; ability to develop effective working relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and customers, as well as internal personnel

Enter information in SAP to manage and complete Maintenance Work Orders

Additional qualifications desired and requirements

Required Must be 18 years of age

Desired Associate Degree, Journeyman's License, NCCER certification, or successfully completed vocational-tech program directly related to Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance. Adequate relevant field experience may be considered.

 Desired 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance and/or control, PLC, or high voltage experience

Valid driver's license

Must pass basic proficiency exam, drug screen, background check, and physical

Demonstrated competency in teamwork, analysis and judgment, innovation, prioritization and embracing change

Ability to work weekends and holidays; and ability to work overtime as required

Computer skills (Microsoft Office applications—Word, Excel, etc.)

Ability to maintain a respectful work environment

Strong communication skills
