Job Description
Your tasks:
• Define and develop end-to-end test strategies for electrical/electronic components and systems, including unit, integration, system, and validation testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, software, hardware, safety, quality) to derive test requirements from system specifications and safety goals
• Ensure that test strategies align with relevant automotive standards and frameworks such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE
• Create comprehensive test planning documentation including Test Strategy Documents (TSDs), Test Coverage Matrices, and Traceability Reports
• Determine appropriate test methods (HIL, SIL, vehicle testing, bench testing) based on system complexity and project phase
• Optimize test coverage, cost, and time-to-market by balancing automated and manual test processes
• Coordinate with test execution teams and monitor test implementation to ensure strategic alignment
• Review and approve test cases, procedures, and test environment configurations
• Monitor test KPIs, defect trends, and test completion rates to guide project risk assessments and quality assurance activities
• Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, frameworks, and toolchains
Your profile:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in automotive EE system development, testing, or validation
• Background in systems engineering, functional safety, or quality assurance
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronic components and in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay)
• Proven experience developing test plans and strategies for complex automotive systems
• Familiarity with automotive test standards such as ISO 26262, LV124, ISO 16750, and OEM-specific test requirements
• Hands-on experience with test tools and environments such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, HIL systems (dSPACE, NI), test automation frameworks, and diagnostic tools
• Experience in software and hardware integration testing
• Knowledge of ASPICE and requirements traceability tools such as DOORS, Polarion, PREEvision
• Familiarity with Agile or V-Model development processes
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicle systems, ADAS, or infotainment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
