E-Commerce Technical Director

We are seeking an experienced and innovative E-Commerce Technical Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in SAP commerce and related platforms, app development (both Flutter and native), testing automation, technical architecture, and retail. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage and retain an offshore team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of developers, including offshore teams.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

SAP Commerce Expertise:

• Utilize extensive experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and similar platforms to drive technical excellence and innovation in our E-Commerce solutions.

App Development:

• Oversee the development of mobile applications using Flutter and native technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and user experience.

Testing Automation:

• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our E-Commerce applications.

Technical Architecture:

• Design and oversee the technical architecture of our eCommerce solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.

Project Management:

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates, gather requirements, and align technical solutions with business goals.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate our E-Commerce solutions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Technical Director or similar leadership role in the E-Commerce domain.
• Extensive experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and similar platforms.
• Strong background in app development using Flutter and native technologies.
• Proficient in testing automation and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of technical architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience in the retail industry, understanding its unique challenges and opportunities.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, including experience managing Offshore Teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
