Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000/year (based on experience)

Role Overview
The E-commerce Manager oversees and executes on the end-to-end performance of Bask & Lather’s digital storefronts, with primary responsibility for Shopify DTC and supporting oversight of marketplaces including Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Walmart Marketplace. This role is accountable for conversion rate optimization (CRO) support, site performance, merchandising execution, promotional readiness, and revenue optimization across all customer touchpoints.
This is a hands-on, execution-driven role. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver, who can manage Shopify, diagnose performance issues, implement CRO improvements, and partner effectively with Growth, Retention, Creative, and Operations. Agency management experience is expected, but the ability to execute directly without dependency is required.
Core Responsibilities
E-commerce Ownership & Site Management
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly performance of Shopify Plus, including homepage, PDPs, collections, navigation, and site merchandising
Site update execution, including content changes, product launches, bundles, pricing updates, and promotional logic
Ensure site accuracy, brand consistency, and operational readiness across all storefronts
Partner with Operations to ensure inventory visibility, availability logic, and sell-through alignment
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
CRO execution across Shopify and key landing pages
Analyze user behavior using tools such as GA4, Triple Whale, Hotjar, and Shopify analytics
Prioritize CRO opportunities related to PDP structure, messaging, imagery, social proof, bundling, upsells, and checkout flow
Run structured A/B tests and iterative experiments focused on improving conversion, AOV, and revenue per session
Translate insights into clear action plans and measurable results
Merchandising, Promotions & Campaign Execution
Execute on-site merchandising strategy tied to campaigns, launches, and seasonal moments
Execute all promotional setups, QA, and post-launch validation. Including discounting, bundles, gifts with purchase, and exclusives
Ensure flawless execution for high-impact moments such as BFCM, product launches, TikTok traffic spikes, and PR moments
Build and maintain promotion readiness checklists and timelines
Marketplace Collaboration
Partner with Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Walmart stakeholders to ensure consistency in brand presentation and offer strategy
Support marketplace CRO efforts by optimizing listings, imagery, copy, and bundles in partnership with relevant channel owners
Monitor cross-channel performance trends and identify opportunities to improve funnel efficiency
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Head of Growth on traffic quality, landing page strategy, and funnel performance
Partner with Retention to align PDPs, bundles, and on-site messaging with email, SMS, and subscription strategies
Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to ensure CRO insights inform content and asset development
Serve as the internal owner of all e-commerce performance reporting and insights
Key KPIs & Success Metrics
Conversion rate (sitewide and PDP-level)
Revenue per session and AOV
Funnel drop-off rates and checkout performance
Promotional performance and launch readiness
Site uptime, accuracy, and execution quality
Qualifications
5–8+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience, with deep Shopify expertise
Experience managing high-volume DTC brands with fast execution cycles
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and TikTok Shop preferred
Proven track record owning CRO strategy and delivering measurable conversion improvements
Strong analytical skillset with fluency in GA4, Shopify analytics, Triple Whale, and user behavior tools
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
Self-starter comfortable operating independently in a founder-led, high-growth environment
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and operational rigor
Nice to have; HTML, CSS, JS experience.
