E-commerce Data Entry Specialist (Shopify)

Role Overview
We are a fast-growing e-commerce business seeking full-time Data Entry Specialists to support a large-scale pricing update project and ongoing catalog maintenance. This role is highly detail-oriented and execution-focused. You will be responsible for updating product pricing across thousands of SKUs in Shopify, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

After the initial backlog is completed, this role will transition into ongoing data maintenance and support. We are initially hiring multiple full-time VAs to complete the backlog efficiently, with the opportunity for long-term continuation for top performers.

Key Responsibilities Product & Pricing Data Entry
● Update pricing for thousands of products within Shopify
● Accurately locate product SKUs and corresponding pricing information
● Enter, update, and verify product prices with high attention to detail
● Ensure all pricing updates are correctly saved and reflected on the site

Data Validation & Accuracy
● Cross-check pricing data before submission
● Identify and flag discrepancies, missing data, or unclear pricing
● Maintain consistency across product listings
● Follow clear instructions and repeat processes reliably at scale

Ongoing Maintenance (Post-Backlog)
● Maintain product pricing updates on an ongoing basis
● Support additional data entry tasks as needed
● Assist with updates across secondary platforms as required
● Communicate progress and completion status clearly

Tools & Systems
● Shopify (required)
● WhatsApp (used to locate pricing and reference information)
● Basic spreadsheets or internal tracking tools (if needed)

Required Skills & Experience
● Strong written English (for reading product descriptions and instructions)
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to perform high-volume, repetitive tasks consistently
● Comfortable working with Shopify
● Reliable, focused, and able to follow structured processes
● Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have (Strong Preference)
● Prior experience in e-commerce data entry
● Familiarity with product catalogs, SKUs, or pricing updates
● Experience working with large inventories (1,000+ products)

Working Hours & Engagement
● Full-time (40 hours/week)
● Initial phase may involve multiple VAs to clear backlog quickly
● Long-term opportunity for ongoing full-time work once backlog is complete
● Fully remote
