About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented E-Commerce Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a growing online business. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate product information, processing order data, and ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of e-commerce systems.
The ideal candidate is process-driven, comfortable working with digital tools and spreadsheets, and able to manage repetitive administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy and consistency. This is a hands-on support role that requires precision, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update product catalogue information, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, images, and inventory data
• Capture and process ordering information accurately across internal systems and e-commerce platforms
• Support product uploads, categorisation, and quality assurance checks to ensure listings are complete and error-free
• Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies, shortages, or data inconsistencies
• Assist with promotional updates, pricing adjustments, and seasonal catalogue changes
• Provide general administrative support related to e-commerce operations, reporting, and documentation
• Maintain organised digital records and ensure data integrity across all platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product, pricing, and order information remains accurate and up to date
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an administrative, data capture, or e-commerce support role preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling data
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, online systems, and digital administrative tools
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to follow structured processes independently
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Advantageous Skills
• Experience working with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms
• Basic understanding of inventory management, merchandising, or product lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets formulas, reporting, or data validation
