We are currently seeking a motivated DZ Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Ottawa, ON. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional customer service.
What you’re responsible for:
• Safely transporting customers' vehicles from point of pick up to the branch
• Maintaining accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
• Performing labouring tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
• Providing our customers with excellent customer service!
To join our team:
• You have a valid DZ driver's license with cleaning driving abstract and CVOR
• You have a valid towing certificate (preferred)
• You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role
• You have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• You are knowledgeable about towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures
• You are able to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions
