Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant – Full Time Permanent – Buffalo, NY - Hybrid - for one of our clients.

Job Title: Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant

Location: Buffalo, NY - office 2 to 3 days in-person.

Experience: 6-8+ years

Duration: Full Time

 

Responsible for the technical lifecycle of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) or Finance & Operations (F&O) platform. You will act as the bridge between legacy banking mainframes and modern cloud-first CRM solutions.

 

Technical Focus Areas

Power BI: You won't just build reports; you will design the data architecture (Star Schemas/DAX) that allows executives to visualize real-time global banking metrics.

Azure Functions: Used primarily as the "glue" for serverless, event-driven integrations—triggering logic when a customer record is updated or a transaction is flagged.

API & Backend: Deep expertise in Web API (OData/REST) to sync Dynamics with Client's proprietary "Digital Banking" APIs.

Data Transfer: Handling massive migrations and periodic syncs from on-premises SQL databases to the Dataverse using tools like Azure Data Factory or SSIS.

 

1. Custom Development & Customization

• Develop custom C# Plugins and Workflow Activities using the CRM SDK.
• Extend the UI with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) using TypeScript/React.
• Write complex JavaScript/TypeScript for client-side form logic and ribbon customizations.

 

2. Integration & Middleware

• Develop and deploy Azure Functions and Logic Apps to process asynchronous data.
• Implement secure messaging patterns using Azure Service Bus or MQ Series.
• Manage authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and Azure Key Vault.

 

3. Data Engineering & Reporting

• Design and maintain the backend database schema within Dataverse/SQL Server.
• Develop ETL pipelines for data migration from legacy banking systems.
• Build and embed Power BI dashboards directly into Dynamics for contextual insights.

 

4. DevOps & Compliance

• Automate deployments using Azure DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure all code meets Client’s Global Security Standards (e.g., data encryption, PII masking).
• Participate in Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated unit testing (using FakeXrmEasy or Moq).
