Job Description

Emergency Veterinary & Specialty Services of Roanoke Virginia is a rewarding, collaborative, engaging emergency pet hospital with our goal to provide high quality medicine to treat pets with the best care possible!

We are a growing Emergency Medicine private practice and looking for our next emergency veterinarians to continue helping us save lives. We are a 7 day a week, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in the northwestern part of Roanoke, Virginia!

We currently have 6 Emergency Veterinarians, 12 veterinary assistants (some are licensed/working on completion of certification) and we practice progressive, high quality medicine with owners dedicated to keeping up with advancing medicine.  

Roanoke is a city in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia. It’s known for the Roanoke Star, also known as the Mill Mountain Star, a neon landmark overlooking the city from the summit of Mill Mountain. The surrounding park area is home to trails, picnic areas and the Mill Mountain Zoo. Downtown, the Taubman Museum of Art highlights work by American artists like Thomas Eakins and John Singer Sargent. Whether you enjoy basking and exploring in nature, sightseeing the arts, you will certainly have much to do while you are here in Roanoke, Virginia!
