We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. Role Overview:
The Duty Manager is fully responsible for overseeing the hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and adherence to hotel policies and standards. Acting as the senior Manager on-duty representative of management, the Duty Manager resolves guest concerns, supervises staff, coordinates with departments leaders and respective Teams, and ensures a safe, welcoming, and well-organized hotel environment at all times.
Main Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Senior Management personnel during assigned shifts.
Handle guest complaints, incidents, and service recovery promptly and professionally.
Oversee daily hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Security.
Conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
Assist in supervision and support all operational teams on shift.
Address performance or conduct issues in line with company policies.
Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and handover notes.
Authorize room changes, complimentary services, and adjustments within approved limits.
Act as the manager responsible and take charge of emergencies or critical incidents.
Coordinate with security and emergency services when required.
Ensure adherence to hotel policies, local regulations, and brand standards.
Liaise with management regarding operational challenges or escalations
Monitor occupancy levels, VIP arrivals, group movements, and special requests.
Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a service-oriented culture.
Provide on-the-spot guidance which may include allocation of duties and managing staffing levels
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures
Ensure smooth shift handovers and continuity of operations.
Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address potential issues.
Ensure a consistently high standard of guest service across all departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of PMS (Property Management Systems) and guest service standards.
Experience working in a 24/7 hospitality environment.
Experience in Food and Beverage Operations would be an asset.
Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in 4 star or higher hotel operations or supervisory roles.
