Dump Truck Driver

Qualifications:

1 year or more of industry-related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, underground utilities, and bridges

This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrable previous experience as a Truck Driver

Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees

Employee must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties

The Driver/Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely

Responsibilities:

Drives truck to transport asphalt 

Familiarity with DOT regulations

Knowledge of chaining and binding of equipment being transported

Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil and fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle before operation

Responsible for daily maintenance of the vehicle to remain in proper and safe working order

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
