PRP Direct Care Worker (Fee-For-Service)

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to help others, demonstrates professionalism, and is motivated to make a positive impact.
Position Expectations:
Minimum of 3 working days per week
Minimum caseload of 10 clients
Expected to work with both adolescents and adults
Compensation is an hourly Fee-For-Service rate
Must be a Maryland resident, preferably located near the Baltimore area for potential in-person visits
Key Responsibilities
Support individuals in developing daily living skills, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Guide clients in developing social and emotional skills to foster meaningful relationships and support networks
Monitor and document individuals’ progress and behaviors
Implement care plans as directed by supervisors
Ensure the safety and overall well-being of individuals under your care
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic, coordinated care
Complete appropriate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards
Manage and maintain your own schedule, ensuring client sessions and obligations are met consistently
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification is a plus
Previous experience in direct care or a related field preferred
Experience working with adolescents and adults preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Knowledge of gender issues counseling, psychopharmacology, or art therapy is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
