Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or commercial drywall installation, including hanging, finishing, and repairing drywall to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

Secure drywall to metal or wood framing using appropriate tools and fasteners

Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, corners, and joints

Apply texture and smooth finishes as required

Repair damaged or defective drywall

Install insulation, vapor barriers, and soundproofing materials as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades

Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of professional drywall installation experience

Proficiency with drywall tools (taping knives, sanders, lifts, screw guns, etc.)

Strong knowledge of drywall systems, materials, and finishing techniques

Ability to read and understand construction plans

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with both residential and commercial projects

Knowledge of fire-rated and moisture-resistant drywall systems

OSHA safety training or equivalent certification

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment

Indoor and outdoor construction sites

Exposure to dust, noise, and construction materials

Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion required
