As a Drywall Carpenter, you will work hands-on at residential and commercial job sites performing drywall installation, repair, finishing, and restoration work. You will work alongside experienced carpenters and project leads to restore properties impacted by damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship that meets company and industry standards.
This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean finishes and understands the importance of precision in restoration work.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace drywall, including hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing
Perform patch work, texture matching, and surface preparation
Measure, cut, and fit drywall materials accurately
Follow blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Inspect finished work to ensure quality and consistency
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Assist with other carpentry or restoration tasks as needed

Requirements
Drywall or general carpentry experience preferred but not required
Strong interest in drywall and finishing trades
Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Availability for occasional overtime, including emergency situations
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, depending on project needs
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
