Job Description
Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics, created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on an industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.
As Drone Assembly Technician you will be a key part of our Production Team, driving the launch and success of our new multicopter production line based on cutting-edge technologies from Ukraine.
You will be directly involved in the production process and assembling drones from prefabricated components with precision and care, ensuring each unit meets our high-quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders from Production planning, Quality Assurance, and Flight Test, as well as Supply Chain, to ensure seamless production processes and deliver exceptional products.
Our goal is to provide democratic armies, including the Ukrainian forces, with reliable tools to defend their countries and the values they stand for. Your mission at Quantum-Systems will contribute to this purpose and make a meaningful impact.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly of components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ground control stations.
• Assemble drones from prefabricated parts such as motors, lightweight frames, wiring, and cameras with precision and attention to detail.
• Use tools like screwdrivers, magnifiers, and possibly a soldering iron to ensure top-quality standards.
• Maintain your workplace tidy and well-organized
Your Work Environment:
• You will work in a small, specialized production area. In front of you are boxes of components — motors, frames, wires, cameras — and around you, the tools you need to build.
• You will be trained and supported by the lead Technician and Head of Production.
