Driving System Test Engineer

Modern vehicles are equipped with multiple Electronic Control Units (ECUs) that enable advanced Driver Assistance functions. Ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of these complex systems requires comprehensive testing through virtual simulations as well as real-life scenarios.

As part of our System Test Team, you will play a key role in safeguarding product quality by identifying system defects early and verifying the functional correctness of driver assistance solutions.

What is System Testing?

System testing ensures that the complete system behaves according to defined requirements and performs reliably in real-world conditions. This includes:

• Verifying the functional correctness of the system

• Checking software behavior against defined requirements

• Simulating real-life scenarios with software running on target hardware

• Evaluating system performance against defined KPIs

Responsibilities

• Perform system and software testing of complex Driver Assistance Systems

• Analyze requirements and design corresponding test strategies

• Specify and implement test cases based on feature requirements

• Review system requirements and test specifications

• Execute tests at system level in HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) environments

• Document test results in a structured and systematic way

• Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects

• Experience in system testing or software testing

• Experience working with complex systems (automotive industry experience is an advantage)

• Knowledge of requirement analysis and test design

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and spoken)

Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python or C++)

• ISTQB Certified Tester certification
