What we expect
Role Responsibilities
Loading and unloading of vehicles
Prepare vehicle for delivery. Verify all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available
Operate vehicle to transport material to site & branches
Maintain remote communications via telephone; follow instructions and provide status updates
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place
Follow safe operating procedures. Advise supervisor of potential hazards
Accountable for working safely and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
Other duties as assigned
Who we are looking for
Role Qualifications
Must hold a valid Class 5 license
Clean driving record
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Forklift driver license will be asset
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
