Driver Support Specialist

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth coordination and support of our professional drivers, contributing to the overall efficiency of our transportation operations.

Coordinate and schedule the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and real-time support.
Monitor and track truck locations and shipment statuses, addressing any delays or issues.
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations.
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document communications.
Respond to and resolve emergencies, accidents, or incidents during shifts.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Support drivers with route planning, fueling, and other logistical needs.

Post-secondary education; a focus in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
Demonstrates ability to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
Strong team player who’s comfortable working independently or with others, and easily adjusts to different work styles and environments.
Flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to think critically and adapt strategies to achieve results
Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
