Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Driver to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record, and prior experience in a driving or logistics role, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.

The role will be responsible for the transportation of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick our products from designated storage areas according to order specifications and packing lists
• Safely pack products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and protection to prevent damage during transit
• Conduct quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards, including expiration dates and product integrity

• Assist in the safe and timely transportation of our products, and services to various locations
• Assist in loading and unloading products safely, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage and maintain product integrity
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs
• Prepare and maintain accurate transportation records, including delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to support inventory management and replenishment processes
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and healthcare professionals during deliveries

Requirements:
Requirements

• Clean and full drivers licence
• Prior experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Understanding of safety protocols and best practices for transporting pharmaceutical products, including temperature control and handling hazardous materials
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products
• Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
• Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records
