Driver Development Engineer

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Driver Development Engineer for a contract opportunity in Santa Clara, California. 

Driver Development Engineer Job Details

We are looking for a candidate to develop and upgrade the PC/Server/Tablet device drivers in various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Android. Qualified candidates should be familiar with debug methods and comfortable working in lab environment.

 

Driver Development Engineer Mandatory Skills

Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study.

Should be familiar with debug methods and comfortable working in lab environment.

Knowledge of computer architecture.

Familiarity with Computer architecture, operating system internals.

Software development skills Fluent in C and/or C++, x86 Assembly Language, and Microsoft Office applications. 

Additional Skills: USB/SATA driver development experience and knowledge of scripting language, such as Python is a plus.
