Driver - Class 5 with Air Brake

Sunrise Chick Sales is a division of Sunrise Farms, one of the largest chicken processors in Canada, with facilities in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Our team of employees are experienced, dedicated, and exceptional at delivering quality products from farm to table.

Currently we are seeking a full time Class 5 Driver with 5 Ton experience (5:30am – 4:00pm) 4x10 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (with overtime required when needed).

Responsibilities::
• Must be ready and able to perform manual work including hand trucking of 50lbs
• This job is 75% labour and 25% driving

Requirements::
• Must be fluent in English both spoken and written
• Have legible handwriting
• Have Class 5 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
• Minimum 1 year experience driving 5 ton trucks
• No more than 4 penalty points in the current year, including no 24 suspensions in the prior 5 years
• Have current and original commercial drivers abstract + accident history report
• Good knowledge of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
• Successfully completion of road tests
