At WM New Zealand, we are the largest composter, the largest waste-to-energy provider and have the largest commercial electric fleet in New Zealand, all powered by electricity from waste. As a team, we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to redirect, neutralise and use waste.
We are looking for a multi skilled Class 4 Driver to join our team based in Papakura.  
The role
As a Driver, you’ll operate the vehicle and onboard equipment to ensure safe, timely service collection, maintain accurate records, complete paperwork, and perform routine safety checks.
Qualifications
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
• A team player – this role includes getting out to help the team when needed
• A sharp eye for detail to ensure sorting is performed accurately and efficiently
• Proficiency in operating dual-steer vehicles (both left-hand and right-hand drive)
• Experience operating mule/compactor trucks
• Has the physical ability to remain on their feet for 6 -8 hours a day
• Availability to work Saturdays
• A valid and clean full Class 4 driver’s licence
• The ability to educate the public on proper waste and recycling practices
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Adherence to all road regulations and logbook requirements
• Safe and efficient driving practices
• Strong skills in route planning and navigation
• Flexibility to operate a variety of vehicle classes
