We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Engineer to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This position is essential in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of drilling operations, with a particular focus on advanced monitoring techniques, simulation modeling, and the use of KPIs to drive performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee real-time monitoring and tracking of drilling operations to ensure optimal performance.

Direct the execution of hydraulic, torque, and drag simulations to improve drilling operations.

Lead efforts in managing and analyzing KPIs, implementing continuous improvements to enhance operational outcomes.

Develop and lead the planning and implementation of preventive measures to reduce operational risks.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align optimization strategies with company goals.

Requirements:

Degree in Drilling Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in drilling optimization and monitoring.

Strong leadership skills and proven experience managing teams to achieve drilling efficiency and safety goals.

Advanced knowledge in drilling simulation tools and optimization techniques.

Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing complex operational issues.

Advanced communication in English
