Position Summary 

The Drapery Sales Representative is a key contributor to the Premium Drapery Team, supporting revenue growth and delivering an elevated client experience under the guidance of the Manager, Premium Drapery & Integrated Solutions. This role focuses on executing sales activities, supporting client relationships, and assisting with the coordination of premium drapery projects from initial inquiry through completion. 

Reporting into the Manager, Premium Drapery & Integrated Solutions, this position plays an important role in ensuring projects are accurately quoted, well-coordinated, and successfully delivered. Occasional onsite presence at installations may be required to support project execution and client satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities  

Sales & Client Support 

Support client consultations and assist in preparing proposals and quotes for premium drapery solutions for venue, tent, and specialty installations. 

Serve as the main point of contact for inbound general public or retail drapery enquiries via phone and digital channels (email, website, eCommerce etc.); 

Manage assigned accounts and act as a point of contact for clients, planners, and venues. 

Participate in site visits and walkthroughs to gather measurements, assess requirements, and support solution development. 

Assist with presenting design concepts and collaborate with clients to refine their vision using premium drapery and décor offerings. 

Secure client deposits and ensure contract details are accurately entered into POR. 

Attend industry events and networking opportunities to support relationship-building and brand awareness. 

Provide onsite support for installations when required to ensure alignment with sales commitments and client expectations. 

 

Project Coordination 

Support the execution of drapery installations by coordinating details and assisting with onsite oversight when needed. 

Identify and communicate project challenges early, working with senior sales and operations leaders to resolve issues efficiently. 

Coordinate with logistics, tenting, and event rental teams to ensure drapery requirements align with overall event plans. 

Assist with scheduling deliveries, pickups, and production timelines in collaboration with internal departments. 

 

Operational Collaboration 

Work closely with the Premium Drapery Operations Team to translate sales details into clear, executable job specifications. 

Participate in pre-production meetings to review installation requirements, timelines, and design intent. 

Provide accurate job details to support labor planning, inventory allocation, and production readiness. 

Assist with reviewing job files and installation plans for completeness and accuracy prior to production. 

 

Departmental & Team Support 

Support the Manager, Premium Drapery & Integrated Solution with departmental initiatives related to growth, efficiency, and process improvement. 

Assist with tracking product needs for custom requests and flag potential assortment gaps or product opportunities. 

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to process, safety, inventory accuracy, and client experience. 

Uphold premium brand standards across proposals, client communications, and installed work. 

 

Requirements & Qualifications  

2–4 years of experience in event sales, event production, design, drapery, or a related field. 

Strong interest in premium event design and client-facing sales. 

Basic understanding of tenting, venue logistics, and event production workflows. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset. 

Ability to read floorplans, assist with onsite assessments, and follow detailed project requirements. 

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

Willingness to work flexible hours as required by event schedules.
