Draftsperson/Drafter – 2D MEP Shop Drawings

Turn MEP designs into precise, build-ready drawings that keep projects on track.

We’re seeking a Draftsperson/Drafter with a strong background in 2D MEP shop drawing production, especially sheet generation in Revit. You’ll be the link between design and construction, creating detailed, fabrication-ready documentation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.

What you’ll do:

Generate accurate and consistent 2D MEP shop drawing sheets in Revit that meet all project specifications and industry standards.

Assemble views, annotations, legends, and details into complete drawing packages for issue to site teams.

Apply and maintain standard title blocks, templates, and sheet layouts to ensure consistency across projects.

Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and BIM teams to confirm accuracy before release.

Maintain organized sheet logs and version control for all issued drawings.

What we’re looking for:

Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field

2–5 years’ experience in MEP drafting with a focus on shop drawings

Proficiency in Revit (2D) for sheet generation and annotation

Strong understanding of MEP standards, symbols, and codes

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
